20% rate increase

If it's BCBSIL, they have a GI issue Plan G with no underwriting. Just submit a plan change request form to BCBSIL. Also - if both are on BCBSIL, you can apply for the 5% household discount (it was not available when Plan F was an option for all).

If they live in a zip code with Health Alliance, they offer GI medicare supplement plans as well to quote with BCBSIL to see which is cheapest.

I have posted before about my 90 year old mother having a Plan F. It was originally CLi and Aetna bought the company years ago. Premiums have been competitive but this year they had a 20% rate increase, $252.66 to $303.15. I have never in my career seen such. Anyone else seeing this with Aetna?
my UHC med supp increased 49% in the 2nd year $100---$149

It's been a while since BCBSIL changed to a 10% roommate discount.
