Does anyone have the details of the 2010 United Health MAPD plans? I know that Ritter has them, but haven't been able to register with them for a week now so I need to get the information from someone, thanks......need it before 10/1 as I have a appointment with some one losing their coverage.

If you need it for 10/1 then it's going to be an 2009 plan, not 2010.

It would be a SEP and you should be able to take an app in October with a 1/1 effective date.

Should is a funny word. Even with it being a SEP, CMS is on the warpath and agents are getting "in trouble" for things that were legit. Not for nothing, but just because an agent can take an app 3 months in advance doesn't mean it's going to look good or not get flipped. The prospect is going to get bombarded with advertisements from many companies and agencies before that app goes effective, it might be a great idea to point out that you're an independent agent and that you're going to review the plans in the area after meeting with them and find the plan that's right for them. That way every time they get an advertising piece in the mail and think about what their agent is doing for them it will give them a warm fuzzy. It will also give you the time to actually take a look at the different plans and know what product is best for them.
Again, send me an e-mail or PM with what areas you need the info in and who you're upline is and I'll try to get that out to you. Either that, or you can just meet with the folks and get a list of their doctors, prescriptions, etc and then comparet he plans on Medicare.gov when that info comes out.

Happy Selling!
