Just had a couple wanting me to come out and write them up. Would have saved them about $1200 a year.

Health questions knocked me...in the dirt.

If you don't want to plaster your company all over this forum, just PM me. Your secret company is safe with me. I need a company that's in Texas with lenient health questions and lowest rates through age 90.

But this being stuck with one company sucks! I just lost $600 plus because of it. And, I'm ticked!

OJT at it's best. You need to get appointed with every company within a 10% premium swing from each other. Currently I can offer nine different companies in rural MO and they are all pretty close premium wise. What's the deciding factor... THE HEALTH questions. AnTex is pretty good for soft underwriting. MutualOO is too, but if they are diabetic with HBP then its a no go with them. They have a two year heart question that has saved my bacon a few times this year. Mutiple companies man... multiple companies. Never close the book until you've read every health questionaire in your arsenal.

Its a name I hate but up in Maine I have to carry it because they have the 2nd best rates and only 1 medical question If the client suffers from End Stage Renial Disease. currently recieving Dialysis or have you been diagnosed within the past 90 days with kidney disease that requires Dialysis, AARP..you can sell them the courses are a pain they each crashed at least once while I was certifying with them and I don't know if they are competative but look into them.

Thanks NWG! But, does this co. require you to study?? :(

You ain't getting away from constant study. Might as well rest assured that for the next couple of years you need to read just about as often as you take a dump.

Those to 80 year old's would have been a slam dunk in California provided they both don't have End Stage.
Does Texas have any kind of state law requiring an open enrollment once per year??

I wouldn't call it study as much as going through the slides and answering some tests...pretty basic stuff but in my case each segment crashed at least once...Find out who is competetive and get with them...I personally cringe everytime I look at AARP but in my case I need to have them.

It is going to depend on what the health condition is that caused them not to be able to qualify whether or not you can find a company other than AARP.

You may want to take a look at Sentinel. They just released Med Supps in TX. A Plan D for an 80 year old female starts at $126 per month. It's going to depend on what zip code they live in as to what their premium is going to be.

If you send me an e-mail I can send you the rates for the entire state.
