Yes, it's true. The end-stage renal disease question IS the only question on their applications. They certainly have their place, in every jurisdiction.
Here lately, we've been switching folks from them sometimes, though, as they are HIGHLY upset at their support for the Obama plan and the elimination of $500 BILLION from the Medicare budget over the next 10 years. Seniors that are watching the news are highly upset at the mention of the word AARP right now.

Daytona guy is right there is some animosity by many seniors because Of AARP 's support for some parts of the Presidents health plan. On the plus side virtually guaranteed issue.

I've seen you mention this before. How did you get off of it? Transplant? Improved health?
The bad....prostate enlarged...procrastinated....nearly killed me. The moral...get prostate checked. A finger up the a** is easier to take. Dialysis makes you sick at your stomach.
The good... Had TURP done on prostate....kidney function improved to where I'm off of it since January 1st, 2007. Get labs every 3 months to check my kidney function.

That's great that you were able to get off the machine. Very few get to stop. I hear you on the exam. I go to yearly exam they have here. It's the digital exam and a PSA blood test. I believe this was my fifth year to go. Everything is great so far.
