Advice on sharing commission dollars

Hi everyone,
I need advice from the group. I am seeking some creative and equitable ways for two licensed life insurance partners to split cases that they work on together.

For example, one partner gets the client and helps in the first presentation meeting, the other partner collects the medical records and helps close the case till policy delivery, what should the split be?

If anyone has advice, models or prepared documents, I would love to hear from them.

Have the commissions paid to the agency and both of you take a salary.

Partnerships have a way of turning to crap. Always.
