Aetna non-commission plans effective 11-1-24

They care about bit producers but it is love/hate.

They love the volume production but hate the clean up in aisle 6 and the loss ratio's. I have heard that from more than one brand name carrier.

All other producers are simply a PITA.

I received an email from my broker manager with Aetna stating that the PPO that went non commissionable will now be commissionable.

Probably a lot of upheaval from myself and other brokers calling in. But either way I’m elated. It’s the only PPO I sell with Aetna in my area all the other options are 💩
Which one is now comissiable again? Also in Florida.

It’s probably some where in the middle. But I can guarantee they do care.

No, they absolutely do not care about brokers. They dont even care about their own employees.

1/2 of CVS employees are on Medicaid because of low wages and because they aren't offered group coverage. Think about that...the 2nd largest health insurance company doesn't even give most of it workers health insurance.

That has been true for us agents as well.
We sell the health products that cover the entire population. Have you ever been offered access to health coverage thru any group? UHC, Aetna, Humana, Cigna, etc.
