Aetna non-commission plans effective 11-1-24

We've been getting emails from our FMOs for almost a year now pushing FE, Annuities, Life and more. FMOs aren't going anywhere. They're morphing into something else.

About the only thing that will be extinct are MA agents.
Yep yep.

100% the entire year from my FMO --then FMO just called the other day, "you have a large amount of marketing money, you want to use it for a billboard or a radio commercial?"

My response was a rock solid no...1. it'd be a waste, 2. it's co-op, 3. I'm not in the mood.

The cray here is real with 26 more bankers life agents added, and then another 30 plus integrity agents in a 20 mile radius, in addition to the other 50 plus already in place. It's utter chaos in the seniors homes and doors the past month. half of those new agents are door knocking (including my own home after my 66 yr old partner at least 5 times now)...everyone that could possibly be 65 or over.

Out of the new agents added, probably 2 will be left standing at AEPs end.

I'm on defense and winning at that, and adding whatever new referrals come my way....

we are headed on a fast track to no commish. anyone could see this coming

fe isn't bad, it is for procrastinators

and definitely gotta be careful or youll be out of business fast on chargebacks if you aren't picky about who youre enrolling

Selling FE is like selling drugs except it legal.

What do you mean?
I received an email from my broker manager with Aetna stating that the PPO that went non commissionable will now be commissionable.

Probably a lot of upheaval from myself and other brokers calling in. But either way I’m elated. It’s the only PPO I sell with Aetna in my area all the other options are 💩
