?

You've said nothing on how your paid ? Are you on per hr pay plus you get commission per application you write ?Do you get weekly salary plus a set $ per app you write ? Most importantly did you get paid a commission 2 times on that 1 person ? If so then you owe 1 commission back
She gets 25% commission, I keep the rest. It is my Bob. Commissions haven't been paid yet for aep for producers so I haven't been paid anything. She said UHC does chargebacks to the agency even if the person makes a change during Aep and they pay the agencies their override early.

She's correct UHC pays overrides weekly . But what I'm saying is when you rewrote the person with another carrier she will get that chargeback back so they'll wash out . If you own the BOB then regular commissions are paid to you in your name correct ? You said you were an loa agent so I'm thinking all your commissions are paid to the agency and she takes her 25% out of that ? Does she take 25% of your renewals every month ?How is she getting paid that 25% commission she charges you out of your commission?Mapd commissions can't be split . Is she giving you free leads ,an office for that 25%?How many agents does she have under her? Depending on her size she makes at least $125 an app override and $4-$5 a month renewal override every month

Aaah, that makes sense. So once she receives the override for the Aetna plan then it will wash out. (She is new and I don't know if she realizes this,) & Yesy commissions are paid to agency and then she takes the 25%. We are the only 2 in her agency. She doesn't give me free leads or an office but she pays E & O insurance & marketing and Agency bloc but in January I will not be LOA anymore. So I was wondering once I'm not LOA anymore, how this same situation will play out but like you said, it's will even out once the other carrier pays their override. I think that's the conclusion I was trying to get her to understand

The override chargeback has nothing to do with you . Why you were giving her 25% of your commissions and her giving you nothing and owning your business i don't understand ?She can tell you to get lost and keep your book now as all those members are in her name . Also were you could get chargebacks are rapid Disenrollments. Let's say you wrote 50 plans aep . If 5 of those fall off anytime before march 31st . You get full $313 per plan . That's were new agents start getting killed. You get that big check in Jan and all of a sudden chargebacks Start hitting . Veteran agents have renewals to cover those . New agents must keep writing new plans to offset that and at the same time write plans to get new commissions . That's why the 1st yr in Medicare very tough for new agents

Thanks Don! That is the answer I was truly looking for. I didn't think those override chargebacks had anything to do with me. I understand rapid disenrollments but I was never under the impression that override chargebacks have to deal with me. I wanted to make sure
