Some state DOI give it for free, some charge you, they usually have email info. Some offer appointment info as well. There are also a number of vendors that sell this info, some do fancy screening to select what products the agent might sell based on their carrier appointments.

Getting the info is actually quite easy. It is being able to do something with it that is the hard part.

I get a dozen mailings a week from people offering me $100,000+ opportunities.

I got a recruiting post card once that had the agencies phone number covered by a Post Office bar code sticker. Oops!

I hate those too.
BTW: I was talking with some techies last week. They said they can pinpoint people and send blast of ads right to one person. That is WILD!
