Agent Secure Quotes Higher Than Others

So i started my test run with agent secure and i've noticed some things about the quoting system.

It gives me a 10-20% higher quote than my MGA. I've cross referenced them with the same info and just wondering if anyone else saw the same.

anyone else using agent secure want to chime in?

Probably is not accurate and does not include insurance scoring/clue/MVR info and is at best a guesstimate.

Ask Agent Secure. Would be interesting to know why this happens.

I know some raters have different assumptions built into them based on the MGA's desires, but this should show up when you look at the quotes and the discounts. An example of this would be automatically selecting 'non-smoker' on a homeowners policy vs having to select it yourself.

I'd be curious to know what you find out though.

That's interesting... what type of insurance is this for? If it's for commercial, maybe the MGA has a better relationship or better loss ratio with their underwriter.

Im looking into it now, but agent secure's full quote lets me pick all the options the MGA would. Curious, ill update once i find out more.

SoaringAgent may be right, maybe my MGA is applying credits that they have.

I use them and I am very pleased so far with the service. SOOO much better than superior access. Only problems I have had is service request issues and they require payment in full on small accounts which sucks. Their pricing seems pretty fair and I don't have a sales rep breathing down my neck once a month to produce. YUCK
