Ahip 2010 Not Avail

Brand new to med adv. I took the 2011 test ( 94 % ) but now I'm told that this only allows selling after jan 01 2011 and I cant sell MA for 2010. Any ideas on a workaround? do all carriers require 2010 ahip for MA and d ?

You can sell in 2010 for an effective date of 1-1-11. I don't see the problem.

Luke call your FMO. I almost took 2010 as it was posted on Humana- then called and was told to proceed to 2011 only. If you want to market prior to AEP for 2010 aging in's or SNP for example consult with FMO or carrier. Congrats on 94%!
