AIM Health Plans & PA DOI

Apparently the PA DOI is taking aim at insurance agents who have sold the AIM Health Plans. The current issue of Insurance & Financial Advisor (PA, NJ, DE) edition lists four PA agents who were cited for failure "to exercise due diligence to determine the validity of AIM Health Plans, which is an unlicensed entity, and subsequently sold coverage to a Pennsylvania consumer." Two agents were placed on three-year license supervision and the other two on five-year license supervision.

We have been down this road before with other sham offerings. Agents that should have known better need to be strung up by the gonads.
