UHC is sending out some disenrollment letters to newly re-written clients whose current plan is being phased out by UHC.
Today 3 clients told me of receiving a letter informing them they were losing their Secure Horizons PLan 55 (which I had just enrolled them in 2 weeks ago)...
Two weeks is not enough time for Medicare to enroll and UHC to stop a mass mailing. It could be "they crossed in the mail."
This year UHC has been very quick with the iEnroll's. I love it!!! In less than 4 days I know they are in the system and I get paid in less than a week! It's the way to go. Hopefully, they will add MedSupp iEnroll's -- soon!
I know UHC made all of us FMO's aware of their plan to re-write the business and gave us ample time to block this by logging onto their CISCO convoluted website. We gave up on their so called confirmation website and contacted & warned every client well in advance that an 800 hatchet "person" would be calling and that they should hang-up to avoid being slammed.
UHC has a shoot from the hip mentality and ya just never know what they will pull next. That said they have gotten some of our MA business this year.
And YES, medical Moop matters, and so does the prescription oop $'s! Many of you may recall that I was the lone-agent two years ago posting that Moop's be mandated in ALL MA plans. Now agent's are selling Moop's. Too bad nobody got the Rent-a-Agent postings; yet. Oh well, in just 4 more years we will read all about that rant!
