I am actually in the process of of hiring two telemarketers to telemarket to businesses. Your numbers are amazing though, may I ask how long you been in the business and if you are buying leads or not? I for one think the yellowpages is a good place to telemarket.

Been in the business 9 years and my agency will be 4 years old on Wednesday. I use sales genie and a few property specific programs. A full time telemarketer is the key, you cannot contact 1500 business and property owners a week and not find a lot of people that are unhappy and/or think they are paying too much. There is a lower hit ratio but you have so many quotes out that you focus on the big picture and less on each individual proposal.

what's a good goal for a telemarketer? 8hr day/ 8 appointments?

My girl averages 11 leads per 7 hour workday.
