We just had a lovely chat with our rep and were told that we'e an "expense" and that the company is cutting expenses across the board.. and as such renewals will now be cut from 15% to 10%.

Roll the book, that way you are no longer an "expense". Not sure why they'd ever word it that way, considering the premiums you right with them pay their salaries.

Well, carrier's insert themselves into the relationship with the client and slowly edge you out - unless you have a great book and keep growing it - then its red carpet all the way.
