I agree that Jack Marrior is a very good resource an annuities. The folks at Riser Adkisson have also put out some books more technical in nature and some more consumer oriented buyer beware type books. A couple of noteworthy entries from them are The Asset Protection Book - has some good info on how much of life insurance and annuities are exempt for purposes of creditor protection etc. Jay Adkisson also has a book called Equity Indexed Annuities - a great book to pass on to clients in the name of "full disclosure"
