Winter in ME if you apply for Anthem and have not had health insurance in a long time (over 63 days) do you have a 12 month wait on pre ex?

I believe it's 90 days in Maine, but Winter should have the exact skinny...

It is 90 as m&m suggested. Up to 90 days without (rather than 63), and then one year pre-x

Did ME ever have GI without pre ex? Maybe I am thinking NY did and than changed it later?

What a mess. ME can only get better with the new bill. That is the funny part of this.

Winter will buy up all of the ME leads in 2014. Hot market coming! Lol.

Apparently Olympia was not able to make it. As discussed, hell knows no fury .......woman scorned over etc.....

The White House said that it invited both Ms. Snowe and Ms. Collins to Thursday's speech but that neither could attend. Ms. Snowe's office said she already had a full day of events planned in Maine before learning last Friday of the president's visit. But the senator added in a statement that "it's always an honor and privilege to have the president of the United States visit our great state."

What a mess. ME can only get better with the new bill. That is the funny part of this.

More truth to that than you think white boy! That is the precise dynamics at play. People keep asking here and elsewhere why Maine and the other GI states dont turn back and get out of this mess. It doesnt work that way as discussed. And when MaoCare gives us nothing but higher rates and uncontrolled costs, it plunges us deeper and deeper into a single payer system. Those rising costs will just be fodder for the jihad against carriers and further proof that that old guard system needs to be abolished completely.

There are lots of people, many here as well, who think that MaoCare is going to shiite the bed and everyone is going to smarten up and turn back the clock. Not going to happen. The Canadian system is worse than what we have but better than where we will end out with MaoCare. We are right on schedule...........Cloward Pivens.
