If active competitors in a specific city market discuss issues like this, you could try talking with kstein and see how his agency is handling this issue.

It's a non-issue. Someone at Mercy just don't know what they are talking about

2. Anthem and Mercy (a group of doctors, hospitals, facilities, etc.) have failed to come to an agreement and as of October 1, 2024, that network will no longer accept Anthem plans of any sort, including Supplements.

Almost always, these contractional problems only affect Employer Plans and Under 65 Plans.

We had a few hundred clients flood us on Monday with this.

Luckily Anthem isn't a major mapd player in Saint Louis but they are the top dog with ACA.

I would bet with a high confidence that this gets worked out so I'm not really stressing over it right now.

It doesn't affect med sup members so don't worry there.
