ANTHEM STOPPING TELESALES FOR MEDICARE ADVANTAGE ACROSS US

I really don't know, Apparently the CEO of Anthem told our Upline they are no longer paying out tele sales from independent agency's that its not just an us thing that this will be country wide. I was hoping someone knew more than I did.

It's 11/16, Anthem is still live and still commissionable.

I just logged into Mproducer and see absolutely nothing stopping me from selling any plans over the phones - are you sure you didn't just lose your contract or something?

It wouldn't be on Mproducer, This is coming from Elevance/ANthem CEO to our uplines president to us.. They seem to want to get away from Tele Sales as far as I know this is something coming that we aren't looking forward too..

Caveat, not an agent.

First, it seems to me there is a fact or logic problem internal to your statement.

I don't think "... telesales ... are no longer allowed..." is the same as "... they [some carrier plans] will all be non commissionable sales starting tomorrow... ".

I also found it amusing when, following vic's clue, I searched online, using the term " Anthem stopping telesales".

This morning (11/15/24 -- say sometime mid morning) when I did that, my first hit was an Insurance Forums thread less than a day old with the title -- you guessed it -- of this thread.

The second hit was a reddit thread from Switzerland titled : "How do I stop receiving calls from insurance companies?"

We know about all the Non commissionable plans from other carriers however this was about all Call centers not being paid on what they sell for ANY anthem policy after 11/15. We will find out soon since we are still selling it.

Yes and Mproducer is Anthem's enrollment platform.....

Who as an upline supports you selling a product and at the same time say I dont know if you will be paid??

Forget about Anthem the red flag is your upline

unless we are just first to know, Innovative Financial group is the upline. they aren't small to say the least and they are owned by humana. So idk what to think yet... i just hope its rumors.
