This isn't intended to be some pissing match.
There was no part of what I said that was incorrect, so I'm not sure what you mean when you say "incorrect".
You did not do a standard deadlift. No powerlifting competition does deadlifts with a trap bar.
It's widely accepted (been this way for decades) that saying "my deadlift is XXX" means you are referring to the standard deadlift movement.
I'm not saying you should do it that way. In fact, for safety reasons, it sounds like a good decision that you're using a trap bar.
But it doesn't negate the fact that you're deadlift max is not "375". It's in fact much lower.
The correct statement for you would be "My trapbar deadlift is 375".
Here is my "TRAPBAR DEADLIFT MAX" of 385lbs. Is that good enough for you Insuranceman???? Cmon bro, lemme see your deadlifts, or are you an armchair athlete. I seriously want to see them...and hey if you can deadlift with a straight bar and like it, good for you, personally I think they make men more feminine, but thats just me
Yes.Is "TheLeadJerk" the infamous John Galt?
