Hello I am licensed in both P&C and Life & Health. I am a non captive agent and would like to remain so but I have been unable to find P&C companies that don't require an agent to be captive. Does anyone know of any good P&C companies that are non captive?
Check the regional carriers in your area to see if they are appointing. Look up Erie, think they do biz in Ohio. Or you can join a network or cluster to get help with appointments. The nonstandards like Foremost, Progressive you can probably get directly.
