Anybody have a good part D plan or senior dental plan other than BCBS or AARP? How about a regular dental plan too? I'm looking to break away from my GA, he's screwing me on commissions.

The only way to find the best Part D for a senior is to,1) Obtain a list of their meds, and, )2 Input the meds into Medicare's "Formulary Finder".
Only then will you know which Part D plan is best.
As for senior dental, someone from Michigan would need to respond.

Do your clients a huge favor, and enroll them through Medicare.gov just like DS4 said. You may lose $25 commission, but you will keep a client for life if they know you are willing to help them for free, and will recommend the right product to them, regardless of your pay.

It is my opinion that there is no such thing as a GOOD dental plan, or maybe I should say, I have never seen one, including my own, that is provided to me because my wife is a government employee.

That is what we do as well....

So you're saying to forgo any commissions on Part D and have them signup through medicare.gov instead? I don't agree that you can't do the research yourself. All you need to do is get a list of their drugs, check the formulary of the plans you're considering and make the call whether you think it's best. If you have 3 or 4 plans to sell, one of them should be a good match.

What I really meant by good dental or Part D is decent companies that pay a good commission. I use Pennsylvania Life for my Part D which pays $53 for new enrolls. I'm not sure if there are decent plans out there that pay more than that. Same thing with dental. I'm getting a 20% commission from Constitution Life, not sure if that's street rate, or if I can do better.

Id like to find another plan to use for both cuz I don't want my GA getting any more of my commissions than possible. Just found out he's been screwed me out of 5% on my med supp commisions through United of Omaha and 8% on Gerber. I'm very pissed off!!!!

You rec $53 per Part D??? I'm certified for 14 of the 47 plans in California and NONE of them pay that much.
Maybe I don't understand your question fully. Are you looking for the Part D plan that pays the best commission, or, do you want to put your client with the best Part D plan? Unfortunately, you can't do both.
I look at Part D as a loss leader. I tell my clients that if they buy their med supp from me, I will help them with their Part D. I obtain a list of their meds, and run it through the "Formulary Finder". If one of my companies is anywhere close to the top in ranking, I sell the Part D. If not, I electronically enroll through Medicare's web site. This takes all of 2 minutes and 42 seconds.
Regarding senior dental, someone else can answer. I don't have time to mess with senior dental.

Hey DS4, thanks for the scoop. I'm just a little paranoid now cuz I found out my GA is screwing me. Just trying to make some money at this without giving all my commissions to my GA. It's good to know my $53 hit on part D is reasonable. Think I'm getting screwed on AARP and BCBS too, have to find out what the street rate is for them is in MI, it's a three year first commission state so the initial commission is a little higher than most states.
