I had a phone appt. today with a rep from Word & Brown out in Orange County, California. They have an online quote engine for MA and MedSups that seems pretty slick. It's free to use if you contract through them. Anyone else taken a look at this?

They are basically reselling a product: (Quotit ePro), chekc it out for yourself here>>>

I always love when a website has a "See Plans And Pricing" link only to find out that the only way to get the pricing is to contact the company directly.

That is correct. The difference here is its application to MA for individual agents which they claim is proprietary. They're offering it free for agents who contract through them.

don't see why anyone would pay for a quoter for MA plans when they are all on medicare.gov

Because on Medicare.gov that enroll now link bypasses the agent.

From what I understand, word and brown have the only CMS approved quote engine available for use on your own site.

So if you are sending people to your site this is the best quote engine out there. Make your site clean, simple and more user friendly then Medicare's (should be an easy task) and you have a recipe for success.
