I have recently become interested in selling insurance by way of someone reaching out to me about a company they work for called "Real Financial." After a lot of research it seems to be similar to Family First Life etc. The person that reached out to me seems to be having success with it but I'm not to sure about the MML type of companies. I am still interested in wanting to sell insurance and will take any advice you all have. Thanks!

Sounds like you need to keep looking. What type of insurance do you want to sell?

Some form of Life Insurance. Have not really though through which kind specifically. Currently still working on getting licensed

I have not heard of them. Insurance is very difficult to start in without a good mentor. Do you personally know anyone who's successful selling life insurance?

Real Financial is spear headed by a guy named Brad Lea...he has a podcast and quite a large following. He took the opportunity offered as a major influencer and business owner to start working through FFL. But Real Financial is his version. I initially got interested because he had interviewed someone on his podcast and everything that they were saying resonated with me. I have ended up with FFL North East myself. I have not had any issues because I have not produced anything. Starting on the phones this week. Wish me Luck!

Real Financial is associated with FFL as the comment above described. If you join RF or any FFL sub agency, take everything with a grain of salt. Do your research in FB groups on lead sources, different carriers and chargebacks. The lead industry within insurance is massive and leads will be resold over and over and over again (not always, but with most FFL sources this is the case). This makes it harder to sell and increases your risk of chargebacks if other agents FROM YOUR OWN COMPANY come in afterwards and replace your policies with cheaper carriers. Do your due diligence.

I never heard of them. However, personally, I feel that when you couple life insurance with MML, at some point the MML becomes more important. Are you in one business or two? What's the focal point -- of activity, motivation, business model, and so on. Good luck in your career!

They're an Integrity FMO with a bad reputation. There are 200 other Integrity FMO's that would be safer.
