Anyone here work for myfedbenefits?

I looked into them several years ago. The training over the phone lasted 2 weeks which was ridiculous. The niche was postal workers, who now have been stopped from working overtime so their paychecks will be less.

Anyway, at the very last day of training they illustrated their guaranteed issue policy. It was heavily loaded and looked terrible compared to an Universal Life or IUL policy so I decided to quit.

Hello Gentleman.

I appreciate the dialogue and interest in MyFEDBenefits. I have worked for the company for over 10 years and would be happy to provide further insite into the training and our proprietary products.

Our Federal Benefit Specialist training is something we take quite seriously. In fact our training is now over four weeks... within the four weeks we include; First Week Intensive Federal Benefits Training, Second Week Hands One Shadowing and/or Live Listening, Third through Fourth Weeks include running appointments with daily interactive support and follow up. Our goal is most definitely NOT to waste anyone's time, it's very much the contrary. We invest into our agents from Day 1 and continue to support them completely.

I appreciate your comment in regards to "guaranteed illustrated" and UL or IUL products" however since I've been here (over 10 years) we've never provided, supported, or encouraged use of any of those products. We have a proprietary product designed specifically for the Federal Market that is on a "simplified issue/reducing term chasis" that Federal Employees LOVE. This product also includes enrollment into a side fund that includes a very attractive 4% return with no early withdrawal penalties.

Once again, I do appreciate the interest in MyFEDBenefits. If you have any further questions, I'd be happy to talk to you directly.

Sincerely,

Brandon Nicol
