Anyone Want A Free Lead ?

you honestly could have afforded these...I trully just faxed them to TRK, honestly, I don't even know his name.....

Just gave them to him

First of all you are offering a product that you expect agents to pay for. Therefore, your post should have been in the Offers section. The Lead forum is not for trying to recruit agents to purchase your leads.

I know, you offered "free" leads. That part is fine if that was all you were doing. Start a thread in the Offers section and refer all agents to that thread for more information.

If and when you do that and an agent asks for more information don't skirt the issue by making statements like "you honestly could have afforded these". You really don't know what an agent considers "affordable".

If you are not going to disclose more about who you are and what you are peddling, the price, type and source then I would suggest that your credibility here is going to rapidly be flushed down the toilet along with last night's dinner.

Do you intend to answer my question or continue to offer platitudes and skirt the issue? I would like the answers here not in a PM or e-mail. Forum members have inquiring minds and want that information shared with all of us.

well if your to "nose in the air" for that, you can send it to [email protected] ...I just check the yahoo one many times a day, and I want to be sure I take care of someone who has a question, and it seems to be working fine for those using it...Why would my leads be any better if I used another email in my signature, and why would that email work better???? Explination please, I can't wait...

I'm also wondering what that has to do with my "class"? Whats my email have to do with being classy??? heck I'm actually not even concerned about classy, just producing an honest product...If I had time to worry about classy everyday I would, but for now, I just work...Sorry if that offends you moonlight...

Maybe me cutting all that glamour out is why I'm not wanting $22 a pop like most lead companies, just a thought...

You need some basic marketing education. Your email address says everything about you!

Trying to give you some good marketing advice, but you seem a little too sensitive to take it and make it work...

You can produce an "honest" product with lousy marketing - and you'll starve.

If your USP (Unique Selling Proposition) is that you sell 'em for less because you use a Yahoo email address and watch other costs, that's fine. You've got to let people know that though.

You only get once chance to make a first impression, and when I (and most folks) see a Yahoo or Hotmail email address, they think "cheesy".

Here's one more tip; forget that "[email protected]" email address. People like to deal with a real person - no matter how small you are - put a name there.

I leave my computer for a couple of hours and you guys are attacking an honest lead source. I've ordered a couple of batches of leads from Jonathan and to a person they were interested in speaking with me. (Yes, that does mean I re-ordered).

That is all I expect from a telemarketed lead. I probably could pay more and have Jonathan's people qualify them, but that's my job, not his. All I want him to do is to provide me the name, phone number and basic information. The price he is charging is less than what people pay for "exclusive" internet leads.

I have hesitated to post anything because I don't want him to grow so quickly that his leads (or rather, the leads he provides me) will decrease.

Let me re-state this again. Jonathan is honest and his leads are actual people who want to speak with an agent about insurance. He's small enough to work with me on a one to one basis.

Are these leads one-call closes? Not in my case. But they are REAL leads.

Yahoo address are "incognito" and generally used by either kids or others who don't want to reveal their identities.

That might be fine for 13 year olds but it's simply not a professional business email address to use.

When you use a professional address from a paid account people know you're real.

The problem with business figuring out how much business you're losing. Of course, it's near impossible to ascertain how much business you don't get.

Because of that you want to do everything in your power to maximize the business you generate. So ask yourself - are more people prone to be hesitant when they see a Yahoo email? You betcha!

That's encouraging. He may get some business here. But I'm still interested to know how he generates leads and some of the sites he uses to generate the leads.

I have no idea what you are even talking about, We use no websites, straight cold calls, no auto dialer, all humans...The hard way, the old fashioned way, if you will, and most times the $25 way, but not here...

To the guy that said I shouldn't have came on here trying to sell something, Simple answer, I wasn't, if you'll look at the top of the page I simply gave a lead away...Someday, if and when that guy ever gets back on here, he will be able to tell you I didn't try to sell him a thing...I simply called him, said thanks for taking them, here is $36 worth of free leads, I didn't want to trash them...I trash fresh leads almost daily just like those, because I have nothing to do with them, that was the main reason I even found this site to start with, I never came on here cramming anything down anyones throat, and this isn't the first time I have given something away on here, If it's bound for the trash, most times I don't mind just giving it away...

Like Rick said, we are tiny, we do all the businesss we can handle most times with the plain ole yahoo addy, I have three addies at the web site,(even one with my name at the start of it) but to be honest, we haven't had to work to get business, so I never seen a problem with using the yahoo one...

Trust me, I just came out of the field and started this place...
