Appointing Agency for P&C?

REPOSTED FROM GENERAL INSURANCE: I've learned about getting appointed through GA's/IMO's/FMO's (like HealthChoiceOne) for selling Health/Life insurance...Is there a HCO equivalent for Property & Casualty products? In other words, is there a GA/IMO that will assist you in getting appointed to sell P&C w/various carriers (here in Texas)? Thanks in advance for all your assistance.
