Associations to Register With.

I am new and not even an agent yet (taking test in 3 days) so forgive me if this is a dumb question but ....

I was reading that you have to get signed up with the following associations for each if you want to conduct business in Ca.

P/C = CIGA
Life/Health = CA Life and Health Insurance Guarantee Association.

Is this correct?

No, all the above is incorrect. You are looking at insurance company requirments (I guess) vs. insurance agent.
