Im looking to see if anyone has experience with asurea and ritter insurance. Looking for insight and opinion.

I've never heard of Asurea.

But if you're experienced, just want top contracts, and to be left alone, Ritter is a good IMO.

All you need to know about Asurea here: Forum Search

I would also like to note that the leads they produce have been found in other agency lead systems that were sold to agents as new.

I know this as fact, when I determined this as recycled leads vs new leads I parted with company. I was not working for\with Asurea.

Do yourself a favor!

Spend some time doing searches on this forum and speak with a couple of different IMO's about what they have to offer. My experience is that the Top producers that I have met over the years have a few things in common.

1. They have access to a "fixed cost direct mail" lead program
2. They can use multiple carriers, to give the prospect the best bang for their buck and to avoid getting policies replaced
3. They are willing to do "whatever" it takes to make it
4. They are appointed through someone that answers the phone and helps them with any questions. Unfortunately, most IMO's do not answer!

I suggest getting training from someone that writes a lot of business and has tons of experience. There are a lot of recruiters that haven't even written enough business to qualify for an insurance convention. These are the guys to run from!

Welcome to the forums!

I used to be with Asurea when they were Insurance Wholesalers selling Mortgage Protection.
Their leads were very good. They are not an NAA spin-off.

You are better off with a IMO that participates I this forum as they are held to a higher level of accountability than those who aren't active in this forum.

Lots of IMO's out there simply don't want to be on this forum. That doesn't make them worse or better than the ones who recruit on here. Don't see an IMO is held to a "higher level of accountability" by being on here.

This forum is just a tiny piece of the online Insurance world

What would you classify as an NAA spin-off?

Not only is it an NAA "Spin-off" but Asurea has had its own "Spin-off" (unique writers).

Each has its own flavor sure but it's all the same at its core.

Not saying it's good or bad - but they are all structured very similarly to my knowledge.

Not sure we're talking about the same group. The Asurea I'm talking about was formerly Insurance Wholesalers. They had very good leads and were honest. Can't see the relation with NAA other than they both sold Mortgage Protection.
However, that was a while ago and I haven't kept up with them.
