I tried attaching a file to a thread today. it was a .doc file 23k. I could not get it to work right. I also tried to upload with a url and that didn't work.

I've checked all the settings and everything is correct. Can you try again, cause I know there are lots of Word attachments here.

What browser you're using? I know this problem is sometimes prevalent on Safari and Chrome.


arnguy, thanks for heads up. I just got online now.

I'm using Internet Explorer 7. The file is 27k.

Someone else try attaching a word doc and see if it works on this post.

I tried it again and got

Upload of file failed.

I'm going to additional options
Manage attachments
then I browse and upload the file and I get the error.

I think I'm trying to do it right.

It may just be me.
