Auto Extended Warranties

I used to be a member of the independent insurance agents of Texas. They used to offer extended auto warranties - insurance agents could sell them for a commission. They no longer offer that. Does anyone know a market for that in Texas?

I've sold these. Yeah, a telemarketer has/had to do what he had to do.

Some of the extended warranties are worthless. Others are very good. One I would not buy is Penn Warranty and two I would buy are AUL and GE. GM's warranty is good as is Toyota's. I have no experience with Ford's. I do not like Chrysler's because the vehicle if it is a Chrysler product has to go back to a Chrysler Dealer for repair. With GM's and Toyota's warranty you can go to any independent professional shop.

Well I bought one with my last used vehicle, at the dealer. I have used my warranty, no troubles, it worked as promised, and the repairs made have paid for the warranty already.

Oh I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about auto warranties sold on the resale market, the kind of warranty you get called about on those damn voice broadcast calls.
