I know Humana is out to make a profit but what about all the Section A's and CMS complaints??

Some of those Bankers agents are like pit bulls when they're trying to sell their Med supp, I can just imagine what the poor senior faces

Yeah, I'm all for persistence, but the tactics they employ go a step beyond that...
I had a lady tell me today that she called the police on an agent that wouldnt leave her doorstep after she told him she wasn't interested three times at three different doors! I said, "Did you also call anyone at Bankers Life corporate?" She asked how I knew it was Bankers - I honestly forgot that she didnt tell me, I just assumed it was them.

I know, I've heard stories like that many times....you usually know what company they're with without even having to ask.

I think going door to door is getting outlawed in many communities.....better check the ordinances in your local town.

I had the same story about three agents ganging up on a lady about her CD's they wanted to roll over to annuities. She said they kept pushing her to call her son right then and when she refused they said they'd check back... they did. THREE times that day. Twice on the phone and once at her door.

She's my client now.

Gees, if Mr Hoetke thinks Bankers agents are "high quality" he must have a very short gauge. I have yet to come across one that does not utilize unethical business practices. I wonder how long it will take for this alliance to come back and bite Human in the butt.

On our conference call yesterday, we were all betting 3 to 6 months (if that).

Just got this in an email today.
