get your foot in the door at a P&C commercial retail broker, such as Aon, Marsh, Willis, Lockton, or wholesale broker such as Swett, U.S Risk, Colemont (depending upon where you live).

They have good salaries w/ plenty of growth potential or production opportunities if you deem sales fits your skill set.

If you're in a big market (Chicago, NY, LA, etc) there are usually a fair amount of jobs available w/in a bunch of different lines.

I have my health & life license. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I guess I really need to think if this is the path I want to take. I feel kind of stuck though, as there doesn't seem to be a lot of other options at this time. I relocated to a new state within the last 6 months and I'm having trouble finding a job to begin with. I see the big picture with this path, it just seems like the short run is going to kill me!!!
