Can someone please help me? I have a client who only wants BCBS med supp so I decided to get my appointment paperwork started and I mailed it out this morning. The problem is, my client wants it done (the application) today at 3:30.

I don't have any med supp applications for BCBS yet, can someone email or possibly fax me one?

I'd be happy to send you a BCBS FL Med Supp app. Send me your full name and your email.

Such an action will guarantee you NEVER getting appointed with BCBS and me losing my appointment.

You announce to the world that you just sent in your appointment paperwork AND then in the same breath you want the MEDSUPP app to sign him up TODAY????

Am I missing something here? Were you planning to have him sign the app and then POSTDATE to match the date IF and WHEN you finally get appointed?

Let me know all your info so I can "HELP" you out! LOL

Anyone Sell BCBS in the Orlando Area? Go to Top
I have a lady who will ONLY buy a medicare supplement from BCBS. Unfortunately, I have decided a while ago that I have no desire to sell them because of their demands and high pricing. If someone is in the orlando area and sells BCBS med supps let me know. She has narrowed it down to a plan C or D"
What is it Chazm? Now you want to sell the HIGH PRICED BCBS ?

All I would say is BE CAREFUL. You have lots of people watching this forum who are a lot more important than I will ever be and will turn your behind into BCBS faster then you can burp. Your integrity level is plummeting fast.

Nice to see another member of the Insurance forum Police force.

Is he not allowed to change his mind about selling BCBS???

Either give him the app or don't, why do you feel the need to be a narc???????

What am I missing here?? You mailed off your appointment papers today??
Does BSBC of Florida issue agent writing #'s in 24 hours??

Hi Harry,
You show your age calling me a NARC!
I guess you're an old hippy who had his share of run-ins with your fair share of hallucinogenic substances.

Please put down the killer reefer and read my response.
He is NOT appointed with Blue Cross, yet is wanting to sell a Med Supp. What does that say about this guys integrity and / or intelligence? Why screw over every other BCBS agent here in Florida and take money from us?

What does your response to my cautioning him about such actions say about your integrity and / or intelligence?

Pass the doobie Harry, before the NARCS get here!
:D

P.S. I sure so miss Starsky and Hutch reruns!

First you could not be more way off with the old hippy remark.

But next time why dont you step off your high horse and just advise him of that instead of joking about turning him into blue cross.
At that point if he want to take an app for a company he is not appointed with that's NOT YOUR PROBLEM.

So as I stated before either give him the application Or DON'T.

**And if you think any your of jokes were funny I would have to say your are the one who is smoking "the chronic" (is that a better referance for you) . Trust me you are the only one laughing here.

*** And please tell me what it says about my integrity, Did I give him an application.

For some of the contracts that I don't have I just refer them to some people I know and trust who are contracted with that company. I know that some people on the forum don't agree with that, but those people also send me referrals for clients who want the products I sell that they cannot write.

And I do agree with Attilla that I wouldn't send you an application either. Use your laptop and help the client enroll online for the plan that they want or direct the client to the site. It will be far better for your career and reputation to just be honest with the client about the fact that you are not contracted with BCBS but will help them any way you can until you are. You may find that the client finds it refreshing that you are willing to go out of your way even though there are no commissions involved for you. It may also get you some referrals from that client.

It's so much easier to just do it by the book than it is to screw up and potentially ruin your reputation and/or career over 1 application.

just my 2 cents.

Sorry, I haven't checked the forum in a few days.
Atilla, you are a joke. Welcome to my ignore list.

I ended up writing the app under my boss' username online. I also found the app online too.
