Why would they appoint independent brokers when they have hundreds of agents marketing these products thru MGA's? Although we do have a new CEO September 1st and anything is possible. Lufrano gone tomorrow.

I heard through the grape vine that BCBS FL is lowering their commissions again beginning 2012. I told the agent to stop selling that company. She is just spinning her wheels.

The only way to make any money is to sell HDHP with a CC/CI plan. Besides, there are a lot of cancels with traditional plans and methods due to folks no being able to afford the premiums and I'm speaking for our Florida locality. Economy is really bad here in my area.
