Hello, I am looking for opportunities to sell health insurance where I can keep my book/build renewals. My past sales experience has mostly been over the phone and I would like to continue with telephone sales. Plan on moving from Bay Area and looking for a place to build a long term career in LA/OC.
I've read some good things about HealthMarkets but I think they charge for leads. I've heard that people can earn the most money working directly for the carrier. However this seems counterintuitive as I would expect brokers representing more than one carrier would have a larger potential market to sell to.
Any advice is welcome!
