Best Med Supp Companies To Contract With

Woodman has a good one starting May 1. They are only in a few states at the moment but expanding. They are approved in TX. You can contact me for a contract if you would like or if you have a go to person, check with them and then check with me to see who comes out best! Also, to let you know, I have a lead deal with mine.

Got approved by the state of Texas. Now I need advice on which companies are tops in the Med Supp market in the Dallas area.

Get contracted with the company with the lowest rates. If that company doesn't have have name recognition and that matters to your prospects get contracted with a household name comany with competive rates.

As I tell my customers I have sold over 1500 Med Supps with varies companies and have had only a few customers service issues in the last 17 years and those where billing isssues.

Build your book of business with the lowest premium and be willing to switch them for less commish . You have to at least let them know that you know there is a lower rate available. Most won't switch for a few dollars but at least they know you are looking out for them.

Does the TX insurance dept put out a Med Supp guide? They are often a little out of date, but if they have one, it can give you an idea who the competitive carriers are. But some carriers don't report in time and other plans that have lowered rates or just come into the market may not be included.

United World/United of Omaha is going to be competitive pretty much anywhere I'd think. My recollection is that Family Life was recently released in TX too. As Todd noted, Woodmen of the World is coming out as well.
