I'm new at this so bear with me. Earlier this year I signed on with 360 Financial Group did a week of training if you want to call it training. That next week I became ill with COVID and when I say ill it was bad. You may be asking what does that have to do with 360 Financial Group. Well, I was out from Feb until Mid-July. I didn't feel comfortable and took the advice of a Family member and asked for a release to join a local company in my area. Mind you I never sold a policy During my time with 360 FINANCIAL GROUP. I'm not in financial debt to 360 Financial Group. I don't have any ill will against them I just want to get released and move on with my new company. I NEVER MADE A DIME WITH THEM SO RELEASING ME WILL NOT HURT THEM. I DID NOT PRODUCE ANY INCOME. I was sick in out of the hospital. So BEWARE GUYS vet these companies and make sure you get sound advice from someone that knows how this works. Unwritten policies and fluff are not cool.

I thought 360 was one of those IMOs that would give immediate release as long as there is no debt. If you can't get released, get appointed with companies you did not have through them. Then after 6 months or so you can get your release from the 360 companies.

Some companies require you to terminate your contract and then wait 6 months.

I heard that too, but I guess certain uplines with 360 Financial Group have unwritten contracts with phantom rules. Man, I was sick this year with COVID from Feb until July. I couldn't produce or go into people's homes. I'm a threat to their bottom line. They need to release me.

I thought they did too. I guess they have changed their model. Word will soon spread if this is the case.

Are these FE contracts?

This scummy FE IMO / FE company surfdoom bullshit.

In the Real Insurance world you can simply dual contract.

No debt. I assume you asked for a release and gave them a reasonable time to do it.

What did they say?

Edit: not referring to any particular IMO.

Hey Guys,

Long time no talk. Nothing has changed over here. Our policy is the same today as it was back in 2007 when I started the company. The decision to release is 100% up to the immediate upline as it should be. I'm afraid the agent in question was not aware this is generally how things work. I did my best to explain it and if he was able to read between the lines to work around it, but clearly he thinks it's better to attempt to trash my company vs. taking responsibility for his own business.

Happy to answer any additional questions for anyone other than the original poster as he's incapable of being reasoned with.

Edit: Took at deeper look and all contracts were submitted back in December of 2020. So, I'm confused as to why we're even having a discussion about releases? With every carrier I'm aware of you can move within 6 months of either submitting contracting OR last application submitted. I swear you can't make this stuff up.
