Best of luck to you! My home base is Springfield IL, but I do travel throughout central IL.
I'm in my third year. My second year was really tough, but that was because I did not spend my first year learning to truly prospect. I was relying and friends and family. Once that dried up, I was faced with really making this a career or quitting.
Once I got my head out of my butt, I worked hard and almost finished my second year as well as my first year was. My advice is to learn to prospect and always be prospecting. Good things will happen when you keep do it!
Thanks Bwell! I've been spending quite a bit of time learning to prospect, so you're advice is pretty comforting knowing that I'm being pointed in the right direction. I've been practicing on my soon to be former co-workers and I've gotten a pretty positive amount of interest and feedback. I know that I still have a lot to learn and that the learning never stops, so for now, I'm staying focused on prospecting until I'm comfortable.
