Btis Rates Are Up

Anyone else notice how their rates went up? A policy i sold few time last year for under a grand (plumber gl), is coming up $2700 bucks! Is it just me?

I rated a small residential remodeler before 1/1 and it was $2900, I just re rated it on AmTrust paper and it was $2030... I guess it depends on the class of business.

I have had the same experiance... but usually when it comes in higher on Navigators paper it comes in cheaper on Amtrust Paper... with that being said though our commercial rates are quite lower here in Utah but that being said I write alot in CA and have had the same experiance especially with Plumbers like you JCK

Burns and Wilcox has programs that are lot better than BTIS for plumbers. The last 2-3 I did, they came in at a much better price.

right on ! B&W does have some good in house paper companies that they write. Ill check it out !
