Building Specs for Insurance

Does anyone know if there is a place to obtain information such as year built, sq footage, an updates on commercial buildings. Many times the prospect doesn't know this information.

Check with the county assessor's office. Usually they have all that info online including permitting information, assuming any updates were done legally. If you can't find it there, city/county planning departments will have the information and they are usually happy to help out.

There are websites that provide that information pretty accurately, I've used property shark which is very reliable in my area

google the address. If it ever appeared on LoopNet or similar commercial leasing sites sometimes they show that info.
