Can I Get Pricked in Obamacare?

Can't make heads or tails of it, but I think they are trying to push insurers to NOT discriminate against alternative medicine licensed providers like homeopathy, acupuncture, therapeutic massage, midwifery, etc.

Feds decline to clarify PPACA alternative provider provision | LifeHealthPro

I agree... also, I could not get the faq's to pop up...

also, sounds like there is one out: "This provision does not require plans or issuers to accept all types of providers into a network," officials added...... so, maybe its covered but your only provider in 40 miles cross town to get the service.

and that deb. Senn seems to be forcing the action to get it incorporated into all plans...

this is a bad deal..... whats next to cause premiums to climb? breast jobs?

I interpreted that the Feds are leaving this to the states to determine what will and won't be deemed "mandatory."

But, yes, the states that would implement would see more costs go into the bucket.

Granting annual "Deductible Credits" as an award for maintaining good health is not fair to those who get sick! This is the latest push by socialism-oriented groups to "tweak" ObamaCare rules. :goofy:

"Supporters say these programs reward good health by helping customers reduce their costs. But consumer advocates say the programs may discriminate against sick people and run afoul of the Affordable Care Act."
