Can someone tell me what "street level" means?

Street.
Level 1
Preferred Level 2
Super duper Gold Level
Super Stud level.

I get temporary lower comp for a green FNG.

Question - on an experienced no hand holding agent, why the different levels? What does an agent that writes $2k a year cost the IMOs over an agent that writes $200k a year? What's the justification for lower comp?
Sometimes the low producing agent is agreater drain on agency than the high producer. Back when I ran a general agency recruiting agents it was the mediocre agents that were constantly calling, wanting special treatment, etc. The top producers were too busy writing business to indulge in the Mickey Mouse stuff.

I'm newly licensed in Cali and just getting started ... this is also a whole new world to me so I'm sure I'll be posting with many ignorant questions until I can learn and get some experience behind me.

I've heard the term "street level" as it pertains to commission ... can someone please break down what this means? Thanks in advance.
It's what prostitutes and panhandlers get paid.
