Can You Please Add a Homeowners Insurance Section

Why have separate sections? The volume of these would be so low that it wouldn't make sense.

If you articulate a reason to have them, I'm sure Sam would listen to the idea.

I agree I would love to have a separate section for home insurance. Auto is P&C yet they have a separate section for that. Much quicker to scroll through topics and there would hopefully be less useless/unhelpful comments from people. (Ha wishful thinking there!!) Overall this site is great and love the helpful advise!!

I can see your point. The forum has seperate sections for Health Insurance, Disability, Life, Annuities etc instead of a L&H section which those could all fall under.

Quick question- If I pay about $3500 for my homeowners insurance (hazard/wind). What is the compensation for the brokers? Just curious. I had a PC broker think health insurance comps were around 5-7%...He might be right soon enough.

Personally, I would like to see a homeowners section as well. It is an area of focus for my agency and it would be nice to be able to go directly to topics relating to this line of business.

Mike commission usually runs between 7% and 15% depending on the company. Also some companies do not give you commission based on the total premium. Some will base the commission on the total premium - fees/state surcharges - 0-30% of the premium. Sorry this is not a clear cut answer, however nothing in FL PC insurance is.

Sam, I really appreciate you taking a look at our suggestions (wants).
I have some friends in Real Estate and they would like to discuss topics on the forum regarding investing in Real Estate. I also have some threads on the Annuity thread in regards to Mutual Funds. So, I think a section on "Investments" would be a broad one that could encompass a lot of stuff. Thanks again.
