[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]I work for a site called AllCarInsuranceCompanies.com and in our efforts to be a Yelp-like review platform for auto insurance, we'd like to get some honest reviews about various car insurance companies.

I did check out your site I do see there are links to get quotes on your site I also see that the carriers on your top page are mostly online carriers no agent representation that maybe why you are not getting a huge response . I can tell that one of the carriers that I sell insurance for I have excellent claim service I have never had a client not be happy with the service they provide and the best in working will billing but before I go on any further I really would like more information on your site before I go telling anything.

Hmmm, except you are here to promote your website.....

But, since you wanted feedback, let me start with:
- Your site is so slow its basically unusable
- The information you provide is touchy feely feelgood stuff, but, it doesn't really compare insurance companies.
- There is no simple way to compare rates across the country from carrier to carrier.
- The single biggest thing about a carrier that people should question is whether they will pay a claim when needed. The 2 things here are the minor every day claims and then how are the big 'the whole neighborhood got wiped out' claims dealt with.

To really compare insurance companies would require an in depth study of how things like the tornadoes in Joplin OK were dealt with by carriers, Katrina, or any number of wildfires in CA. These are the things were you can look at the responses by the carriers and really compare them.

Of course, you did say its a yelp like site, so why not just go to yelp?

some companies are excellent and do a great job of handling claims.

other companies are sleazy. almost as sleazy as lead generation sites.

very slow site, i think there is a study on sites that are slow, auto plays music/video, and color and how they effect if the person will stay on the page.

Btw, are you affiliated with those companies at all? Not sure if you can use it or not, but i was contacted by a company to remove their logo once, even tho i was a subproducer.

It was a pretty scary letter, but it was just a remove it or i'll sue you letter.

First impressions: The site is incredibly slow. It took over a minute to load. Get a different web host or ask your current to put you on another server. Website name is long. Logo is unprofessional and too large.

EDIT: It took over a minute to fully load, the graphics are too large (in total aggregate file size), and it's far too busy.

When you click on one of the carriers, it loads...and loads...and loads... You need to find a way to increase the speed of this site immediately.
