The Hartford can be competitive in your market, but it's not really a secret, so a lot of your prospects are likely to already be insured with them, considering local IA's plus AARP is busy selling all the Hartford they can to seniors anyway. You probably could do well with Hartford but need another carrier or two.

If you've got offers from clusters, talk to them. You'll probably have a hard time keeping multiple carriers happy if you're doing L&H full time and just cross-selling P&C.

Thank you for your response! I did hear good things about The Hardford. But it is true im sure it is pushed hard.

any other carriers in michigan that are competitive with this age band?
