Casualty Ins for an Unfenced Pool

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a carrier that will take an Apartment risk that has a swimming pool with no fence in the center of a gated courtyard. 1st floor Units do have direct access to the pool.

Any suggestions on who will insure this risk?

Thanks for the response...tried that though and it's the same story with E&S as well. Had received one indication only that was almost 30k for the GL.

You may also try Crusaders in LA area.CIBA & PSMI will likely do it as well.

Thanks guys, Those standard co's all require a fence around the pool. I have it into a wholesaler back east who may have an exclusive market. I will post the results for future reference.

Also, I am familiar with Crusader, they would not take an unfenced pool, same with Public Service Mutual and CIBA. thanks, though.

Edit: exclusive market declined.

I think the answer is to fill in the pool and landscape or rebuild to accomodate a fence.
