When there is a change in Broker of Record, does the new Broker continue to get the renewals? Or how does it work? Are the renewals the same, or do they change because of the change in BOR?
All depends.
Only real answer to this question is to ask the carrier how they deal with BOR changes. Just a warning, most carriers hate them and don't encourage them at all, unless its a situation of the previous agent isn't around anymore.
Doesn't mean they won't do them, just don't expect a lot of help.
Thanks for the info...I am mostly asking because I've heard from several policy owners that they are not happy/satisfied with current broker. That's why I mainly ask the question.
