Not sure if they are accepting appointments but Mercer (United Fire Group) writes a lot of these.

USLI will write them but it is hard to compete with CM.
AMEN!!! Our agency writes tons of churches and most agents are appointed with Brotherhood. When I found out that I have to sit in judgement in front of them and give my testimony, I politely declined. I gave up judging and being judges by others long ago. The truth is, I am very active in my faith, but either way, it is none of their business.
Zurich also writes churches. When I sold p/c, they were hard to beat. THey had a lot of coverages included that would be extra with what I could offer. Stain glass coverage was a big one that I can remember.
One thing was for sure, churches were big premium and not much service work. If you had a BAP (church van or bus) and multiple drivers (I remember some with up to 12 drivers), you had access to many people with good driving records and many possible personal auto policies.
