Class Action Lawsuit Against CMS

I'm seriously considering filing a class action lawsuit against
CMS for not reporting NPN's to the insurers so we can get paid. If any other agents are hearing the same excuses from carriers please let me know. I'm sick and tired of all the BS. We work our asses off to get paid only to be treated like crap. If you've had enough and want to do something about it please private message me.

To my knowledge I have not lost any, but I know of several agent posts that say they have. I hope you can build a good case. I'd like to see those b******* have to discontinue the call center's and leave this to agents who know what they are talking about. Good luck.

The only ones who win in class action suits are the attorneys who do the work.

By the time any proceeds are split up it would be pennies on the dollar even if the class prevailed. It just isn't worth the time or effort, IMO, sorry...

its not about proceeds, its about being fairly compensated for our hard work and knowledge. Currently there is no accountability between the carriers and CMS so they play ping pong with us and nothing gets done. Rules need to be established regarding association of NPN numbers and compensation in a specific time period.

there should be an npn # on every case... even "house" accounts and ffm call ctr accounts. This system would then have to be populated and if yours is removed for a different one that's electronic theft.

just my thoughts

I am well aware that house accts and ffm accounts don't have npn's so create a different number for all of us

I have the same issue but only the accounts opened with BCBS trough CMS.
I support your class action law suit.

In a couple of years when commissions are non-existent from the 2 remaining carriers it won't matter.

Isn't 2017 when all the reinsurance is gone? I guess we will see what happens then.

Care to place bets on who shows for 2016?

Aetna?
Coventry?
Assurant?
Cigna?
UHC?

If they bail that leaves BX, KP, Humana and .............

KP might just take it all in house next year. That's what they do on MA plans.

Humana is beefing up DTC sales. Might as well since they can't seem to pay commissions correctly to brokers.

You're running a two year losing streak, don't double down chasing your losses now.......LOL

Remember what Warren Buffett said "The Market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent".
